Luther Reed was living at the Hollywood Argyle Apts. 2017 North Argyle, Hollywood as of April 15, 1930.  A man of 41, divorced born in Wisconsin, as were his mother and father. The 1930 census indicated that he was a motion picture director.  Others in the building were attorneys, actors, authors, dancers, stock salesmen and of course a druggist.
